Anas relates that, “We asked the Prophet (saws), ‘O Messenger of Allah, shouldn’t we refrain from calling others to goodness if we don’t practice all good things ourselves, and shouldn’t we refrain from forbidding wrong things until we ourselves have abstained from all the bad?’ ‘No,’ he replied, ‘You should call others to goodness even if you don’t do all good, and you should forbid bad things even if you don’t abstain from all of them yourselves.’”

If one gives in charity what equals one date-fruit from the honestly earned money and Allah accepts only the honestly earned money Allah takes it in His Right (hand). And then, enlarges its reward for that person (who has given it), as anyone of you brings up his baby horse, so much so that it becomes as big as a mountain.

Save yourself from hellfire by giving even half a date in charity.

Whoever cherishes my sunnah, indeed he cherishes me and whoever loves me will be with me in Paradise.

The difference between the one who remembers God and the one who doesn't is like the difference between the living and the dead.

You must adhere to truthfulness, for truthfulness leads to righteousness. And, verily, righteousness leads to Paradise.

How wondrous is the matter of the believer, for all that happens to him is good: if good befalls him he shows gratitude, and it is best for him; and if ill befalls him he shows patience, and it is best for him.

None of you truly believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.

For him who directs toward good is the same reward as the doer of it.

Solitude is better than being in bad company, and being in good company is better than solitude. Saying what is good is better than silence, and silence is better than saying what is bad.
